Claiming her boyfriend stutterers just to make me happy...........

Claiming her boyfriend stutterers just to make me happy........... This is an awkward situation that others might have experienced. As a stutter person myself, this girl I work with is so nice but obviously has the nicest boyfriend. She told me her boyfriend stutters too......yet when I met him 2wice and chatted to him on the phone he didn't stutter at all...no trace of a stutter problem. Why did she tell me he stutters when he is a non-stutterer??? Is she trying to make me feel better by just saying her boyfriend stutters to better be able to relate to my problem..??? I so badly want to call her a liar and tell her that her boyfriend does not stutter because I heard him speak already.....but then I fear she would get defensive and not want to be my friend anymore after calling her out. Why did she says her boyfriend stutters when he doesn't stutter legitamitely?? Why did she say her boyfriend stutters probably just to make me feel better????? Did she think she could lie and get away with it??? A month ago..this boyfriend of hers made a political speech and she claimed he stuttered all the way through it. Am I supposed to believe that after I heard him speak to me on the phone fluently???? Is she trying to make me think her boyfriend is like me just to make me feel better??? Why did she say he stuttered moderately or mildly when that's not true......??? I met him twice already and spoke to him on the phone and didn't show any stutter symptoms at all........why would she lie to me about her boyfriend just to make me feel better???? Just another curiosity......2 other best friends that are girls claim they stutter too.......I never called them out for lying on it and I never will call them out for lying that they stutter!!! They are very fluid NON stutterers...so why are they saying such false things??? They don't have a stutter disorder...so why are they claiming they stutter??? It's cruel to lie by saying they stutter just to make me feel better. I would never tell the girl with the boyfriend that she is lying about him having a stutter......she would hate me and not be my friend anymore. She should not be lying in the 1st place! I would never call out these 2 other girls that are like sisters to me that they are lying about having a stutter!!! "I stutter too"....I feel like saying "no you don't stutter---you are a non-stutterer and you don't know what it's like...why are you lying to me"..... This is very long but very thorough---thats what this forum thing is for!!! It probably won't be read all the way through.......but I am wondering what others would do in this situation......knowing your 3 best friends are lying about having a stutter problem just to make you feel better...or lying about their boyfriend having a stutter just to please me???
