My husband has a stutter as an adult. He did therapy when he was younger. Whenever he needs to work on his speech for an interview or talk he’s giving, he’ll practice the techniques he learned in therapy. He doesn’t think going back regularly will help him, since he can just practice on his own. Maybe you can do the same for your son? Book one more session for him and see what they teach him and then do it regularly together outside of therapy. Also, sorry to make this about me, but I was wondering if you remember if your son had a babbling delay or speech delay as a baby? My 10 month old isn’t babbling and I’m wondering if it could just be related to stuttering or if it’s something worse.
