I used to get suspended multiple times a year for fighting in middle school and high school, most of it related to being made fun of lol. I still have strangers make dumbass comments and I’ll laugh along and comment I have a stutter. Usually that’s enough to make them feel bad enough to cut the crap lol. But if they don’t I continue to play along, I feel like it just exposes them more and more to the people around us what kind of person they are
