Love this! 👏🏼 I agree. It takes time and practice of course, but I feel like that’s an awesome mindset. I notice a lot of people who stutter are also sooo hard on themselves, and I feel like we really should be kinder to ourselves. If we stutter is ok, if we say something out of breath is ok! Also can I say that some people even find our stutter interesting?? Like, they genuinely like it in a way. At the end of the day, stuttering makes us different.. and that can be a cool thing, depending on how you choose to see it. Seeing our stutter as a curse is just one way to look at it… but not the only way. (It definitely took me time to think like this lol, but the more I accept it, the less power it has over me.)
