I recently cut back from 400-500mg of caffeine a day to 100mg or less. I also started taking lions mane everyday. Between the two, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in both anxiety and fluency. I don’t have as much anticipatory anxiety. When I think about upcoming speaking situations, I don’t really think about stuttering anymore like I used to. In high pressure situations, its still kind of a struggle, but not nearly as bad. Anyways, thought I’d share. I’d like to try being caffeine-free, but it’s so difficult.
