1. Happy birthday! 2. I don't have a stutter, but my 9 year old daughter does. I knew nothing about stuttering prior to her's developing! Once I realized what was happening, I googled and found a local chapter of a stuttering group who is extremely tight nit. They all use each other for support and get together quite frequently. I would definitely look in to that. Also, since attending these groups, I have talked to many people with a stutter. I could care less. I would absolutely be friends with someone who stutters - without a doubt. :)
