That's sort of what culture is, for the most part. And there are those who don't stutter who still don't contribute much of anything in conversation, simply because what comes out of them, even in fluent state, is pretty much not worth anyone's time. So, you stutter. Some people do. But still you communicate. And that's the main thing. Your stutter makes it so things take a bit longer to get across, but you're still getting it done. You're participating. Don't worry about speed or timeliness, because those things aren't the only factors, and sometimes they're not factors at all. - Did you ever try working with a professional to see if you can get better at managing your speech?
