Honestly, I use costal breathing when things get a bit closed up and im feeling more blocks than usual. I’m also someone who did the McGuire program years ago. Lots of useful techniques when combined together. Personally if I find myself struggling I just switch to that which helps me with a sense of control. That along with deliberate disfluency is what helped me the most. It’s not for everyone though and I can understand that.
