I've accepted the fact that I'll be stuck with general labor for life because I don't need to talk to half the city if I'm doing that kind of job. Look for a recruitment company and let them know you have a stutter and you're not comfortable working in places you'd have to talk constantly. That's how I got my current job. There was a time I had it on my resume that I stutter so they wouldn't be surprised because my stutter is sooooo bad to the point where people think English isn't my first language and well, English is the language I've been speaking since I was a kid. Hell, I can't even speak my native language fluently. Plus, I have an accent (West African). Could you picture how difficult it is for me to talk? My accent is thick enough, combined with stutter is a disaster. So I just put it out there that I stutter. You might wanna do the same if you feel it might make things a bit different Edit: I just realized this was more like a rant than an actual reply. I'm sorry :)
