This is the same exact case for me. ESPECIALLY when I alter the tone of my voice or accent. I’m 33 and I’m pretty sure my stutter / stammer is trauma induced. I’m AA so I often mimic a Nigerian friend of mine and it comes off so natural people don’t think I’m originally from America. I tried the speech easy for a while and it definitely works but I broke it and haven’t been able to get it repaired. It cost several thousand but man it was a game changer.
