I have a moderate stutter, a few months away from 30 and I've been a nurse for 5 years, I think I like caring for hurting people because of it. My buddy has one of the most severe stutters I've heard to this day, he's engaged, runs a successful car audio business, and loves life. Give it a few more years and if you're anything like me, by the time you're in your mid 20s when your brain is fully done growing, you will care a whole lot less about how others think about you
