I actually met my wife on AOL dating, so we did meet online. I dated lots of coworkers at different jobs prior to that, which is one of the best ways for a stutterer to get to know someone in a lower stress way. I also engaged a dating service, which I had on pause when I met my future wife. So no, not too different, actually. Frankly, with all of the online dating services, texting, etc., I'd bet it would be easier for me than it was back then, so yeah, my statements still stand.
