I believe that accepting it it’s the first step of living freely with it. King george VI was a stammerer and was loved by a whole nation, many other influential persons were stutterers. Ever since I stopped trying so hard trying to hide it by avoiding words with an hard C or G (I used to call a friend of mine Ristian instead of Cristian because I couldn’t pronounce it) I’ve been living better. It’s not all rosy, I still find difficulties when I am in a setting full of girls I don’t know, but it’s a start. Walk with your head held high!
