I have also had problems stuttering in social situations to the extent that I can't communicate at all, it does make you feel terrible. I know what you mean with sounding like a weirdo, using weird words in strange places that makes people unable to understand you sometimes. This really sucks, but I think that your depression is making it worse than it has to be, with increased anxiety, bad sleep and all. If you improve your mood you will probably improve your speaking. Please allow yourself to get some help for your depression, maybe you already are. I also guess you are still in High-school which can be quite rough socially, if your friends see you as a burden because of your stuttering, you should get some new friends, trust me there are better people. It can also be that you feel like you are a burden even though you are not, and that is a different thing. When your depression gets better and you ease up, you will be able to look at your stuttering with more humor, and really appreciate a part of you that really defines who you are. In a way, stuttering is a curse for being social, but it can also be a gift as it makes your identity a lot stronger and you are a lot easier to remember. Look at this guys video, I think they were great and they made me feel better about myself : [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC\_30sTgP6uMD9AHxdbtcaGQ](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_30sTgP6uMD9AHxdbtcaGQ)
