Omg totally. My exes used to say it’s cute and charming but I never understood it. My friends compliment me on it every time I mention it. Which don’t get me wrong is awesome that I have friends who care for me like that, but because it’s frequent, it makes me feel like they’re doing it because they want to make me feel better because its bad, not because they’re genuine. It’s like when a friend asks if they’re attractive or funny, you just say they are to make them feel better, not necessarily because it’s genuine.
