DAF has worked miracles for me during work calls - need suggestions for ways to have your computer replay your voice to you when you speak! So I think i've made something of a breakthrough in managing my stuttering at work! I work remotely, where all my calls are attended through zoom and such, where i have to speak thru a mic. Recently my laptop's mic hasn't been working, and the only way I've been able to speak is to join the call on a 2nd device (my phone), and then speak through that. And when i speak through the second device, i then hear my own voice replayed back to me through the audio of the primary device (my laptop) Having my own voice played back to me has had a tremendous improvement to my fluency. In these conditions, I'm upwards of ~95% fluent, and the remainder I can manage well enough through good old well-practiced word-swapping. i've been observing this for the past 4 weeks now and the effect hasn't really faded (it probably helps that I only use this for calls, and not in any in-person speech). Obviously I can't keep using two devices for calls indefinitely, but I think arranging an alternative should definitely be possible where i just have some software on my laptop just replay my voice to me with 0.5 sec latency or something. Anyone know of such a program?
