Stuttering sucks

Stuttering sucks I took my grandma to an appointment today totally expecting to sit in the waiting room and not engage in conversation until the technician started making small talk which completely took me off guard. She ended up asking about school and offered to help look for jobs. When she asked my name I couldn’t even get it out. I was so caught off guard in that situation I think it made my stuttering worse (if that makes sense). I’m super appreciative of the tech even offering that to me I just wish I could’ve conversed more confidently with her 😔
