This technology that you mentioned seems to be more geared towards speech disorders like dysarthria where the vocal muscles are too weak to produce audible speech. Whereas stutterers have perfectly fine and intact vocal muscles but we process speech differently in our brains. A technology that would help stutterers must involve some kind of brain stimulation or alteration in the speech areas of the brain in order to correct speech blocks. Another option that would work is some kind of meditation designed to treat stuttering. Which is already in the process of being approved by the FDA and was created by Gerald A Maguire. I do though think you're right. Stuttering will be a thing of the past in this century. Either neurolink will play a part in resolving it or a competitor of neurolink or a pharmaceutical drug. I think the pharmaceutical drug will come first since the work from Dr. Maguire seems promising.
