Hi there ~ There are a few reasons that this could be happening. Here are some reasons to possibly consider. A head injury could result in neurogenic stuttering. If you've had a head injury recently, I would look into that. There are medications that have been known to induce stuttering in individuals who have never stuttered before. If you're taking any medication, check to see if it can cause stuttering. Another cause could be a condition called Functional Neurologic Disorder. There may be other reasons too, but those are ones you may want to look into.
