Does it bother anyone else when someone says your stutter is cute? I(30F) have a friend around my age that likes to tell me they think my stutter is cute. It tends to be when we are talking about it and I explain the negatives of having a stutter. And after they tell me they think it's cute and adorable. I know they are doing this to try and make me feel better. But it bothers me because my stutter is the one thing that I really struggle with. and has always been something that makes me uncomfortable and it feels like my feeling and struggles about it are being brushed off as a personality trait. I'm mainly wondering if I'm the only one bothered by something like this.
