I really like this para: > As for methodologies: Different things work at different times. Fluency for me is like a language, the greater my vocabulary, the more command and control I have of communicating. Similarly, the greater my tool box of pro-tips and skills, the better my command over stuttering. That is kind of what I had in mind too. I have been thinking of fluency as a skill that needs to be built up. Much like doing an exercise or building an actual skill. The thing about my stutter though is that I am fluent when I'm on my own. When I know no one can hear me except an audio recorder, I can talk like a pro. The stutter happens when other people are present. So its almost like I have the skills when I'm alone, but they suppress when other people are present. So this is why I'm pondering as to whether I'm really looking at it the right way. Because this is not how other skills work. In regard to other skills, the skills stay the same whether there are people or not.
