If it works it works. I increased my fluency greatly when I realized that I often stutter when i start a sentence with a vowel. Or when i call out somebodys name with a vowel If i were to say "Alexa" the Ah will get stuck in my throat, but if i say "hey alexa" I'm fluent. It's important for me to keep verbal momentum and keep speaking to maintain fluency.
