Yk, I read a really helpful article last night about stuttering and talking to people. One of the points it had, which I thought was great advice, "If you show it doesn't bother you, then why should it bother them." I think PWS often expect a negative reaction to how we speak and then that shows our insecurity surrounding it. But if we own it and walk around with it on our sleeves, then what can a a**hole or rude person REALLY do to us. The quickest way to achieve that confidence we're ALL looking for, is to be upfront about it from the get go and take our time and use our techniques in a confident manner. Easier said than done for sure but in the long run it'll help us all. Thank you for replying ❤️, one more thing I'm curious about if you're comfortable, is how do romantic partners react to your BD & Stutter?
