I would have put down my family but of course the shelter needed outside family references because the family isn't a good indication of a person's ability to show care for others outside the family. Can I ask what the interview was about? If they don't ask me scenario and behavioral questions based on my past experience I think I can pass. Like the cycle of "You need experience. I don't have experience. Then get experience. I can't get experience unless I get an opportunity!" My interview at Target went to poopoo. They asked me a time when someone changed my perspective on something. I didn't have an answer so I just stuttered and muttered about how Toyota is better than Hyundai. BUT my "friend" told me to give Hyundai a chance since reliability is based on past reputation of a car brand and Hyundai could be a reliable car brand in the future. If you didn't understand that, that is exactly how stupid the interviewer thought I was XD and that's why I can't pass an interview for the life of me.
