We have been rejected so many times that we have become numb to it. Now rejection feels normal. Not just rejection from the opposite sex, but from people we meet everyday. People who are stuttering for a long time have grown a muscle for discomfort, embarrassment, awkwardness and cringe. It hits sometimes on how fu*ked up everything is. But we move on. I mostly focus on other areas of my life and attempt to excel in them. This gives me confidence. And practice my social skills along the way. I know I suck at meeting new people, but I am happy I am trying my best. I know i am going to get rejected, but I am going to try nonetheless. I wish you all the best on your journey. Sorry for the melancholy comment, i am a jolly person otherwise.
