Anyone ever gotten rid of their phone plan and switch to only texting?

Anyone ever gotten rid of their phone plan and switch to only texting? I refuse to answer the phone unless it’s someone like my mom or brother. I will never in a million years answer the phone from anyone else. If it’s a place I am required to talk to, I will drive to whatever office they have and attempt to communicate in person. Has anyone ever gotten rid of their phone plan due to their stuttering?
