Oh geez, too many to count... but here are some of the more worse ones: 1) In my senior capstone class, we worked with a customer to design and implement some software. The first part of the course involved our team meeting with the customer for introductions and just a general discussion about the project. He was remote so we sat around a big conference table. It was 4 of my classmates, 3 faculty, and a guy on a conference call. When it was my turn to speak, all I could manage to say was "Good morning, my name is..." and that was it. I sat there 100% frozen for about 10 seconds. Eventually, one of my classmates took over and introduced me. 2) Going to my 2nd job interview ever. There were 5 developers on one side of a conference table, and me on the other side. The whole interview was one big block. I probably got out 5 words for each question, while being beat red and having a severely contorted face. Needless to say, I didn't get the job. 3) Visit my fiance's sister and brother-in-law about a year ago. We had dinner at their place and hung out for a few hours. My stutter was fine all week, but when we walked into their house, I lost it. I couldn't talk the entire night. They kept asking stuff like "So how's work? What do you do there?" and I just couldn't answer aside from saying "Good." Stuttering really is awful. I've had such drastic moments with it throughout my life. Some weeks, it's gone. I can talk 99% fluently and it feels absolutely amazing to be able to say what I want (and need) to say. Some weeks, I can't talk. I can barely tell my fiance "I love you." :(
