Block with saying Happy Thanksgiving

Block with saying Happy Thanksgiving I’m new here, but I’ve struggled with stuttering my whole life. It’s been pretty catastrophic to my confidence and social life in general. I’m 36 years old. Today, I got a really bad block saying the “g” in Thanksgiving to my wife. “Happy Thanksg…”, and then tried again with a similar result. My breathing had just stopped at that point. My wife knows and understands my condition, it just makes life so difficult sometimes. I think it was the pressure to say that particular phrase at that particular time. There was no way out of it. The same has happened to me even when introducing myself and saying my name. How embarrassing…
