Hey! I work as a nurse. Yes it is so hard. But you work in healthcare profession.. surely people should understand. It can be scary when talking in a group of people.. but if they don't have empathy and a small bit of patience surely they're in the wrong profession? Working in hospital no one has ever said to me hurry up or what's going on? They just wait. I think in an emergency situation your mind wouldn't even have time to think 'im going to stammer'. I'm sure the more you do your work practice the more comfortable you'll get with your speech?
