Funny coincidence that this is the first post I ever read on this subreddit as I’m also 31 years old and I also stutter. (But I’ll be 32 next month though 😉.) Same for me. I do stutter at work but more often during lunch and other informal conversations and far less during presentations and official meetings. I believe that when “playing a role” like when you’re doing your job is different from being entirely your spontaneous self, and it’s in the latter situation where I tend to stutter more. Here in Belgium I’m a member of a non-profit organization for people who stutter, and I hear that this a typical situation for many of us.
