Hi, I stutter (24m) and I’m currently in college and went through this. Tbh I just stuttered and said my name, I didn’t even disclose that I stutter bc honestly they could already tell hahahaha. No one seemed to care, or make any weird faces nothing. In one class we did this like ice breaker game, and it was in small groups, and one of the questions was to talk about something that I normally would never talk about, and I used that opportunity to tell my group about my stutter and stuff. You’ll be surprised, college is not like highschool/middle school. Like in middle and high school I had people laugh at me, make weird faces etc. In college either people don’t care, or they actually want to learn about stuttering and want to become an ally.
