I’m a rising fourth year medical student and I’ve been a PWS since I was like 4. Don’t let your stutter decide what you want to do in the future. Yes Radiology and path require less speaking but in the end, all of the specialties will require some level of communication. High octane environments make me personally more stressed and I don’t like to operate in that regardless of my speech (planning on internal medicine). There are certain job paths like an airway traffic controller or something with time sensitivity that would definitely be a no from a career standpoint. Medicine is definitely open to you. PM for any ?s.
