I’m a current SLP grad student who stutters (male). I believe people who stutter can thrive in just about any occupation but not everybody is suited to be a therapist or work in healthcare. Like what others have said in this thread, stuttering itself is uncommon let alone someone who stutters AND decides to be an SLP. But they’re out there. Since stuttering prevalence is low, SLP’s rarely work with just stuttering, so finding one who also stutters is hard but those who do teletherapy are great. I hope to do that once I graduate
