I absolutely does. If you let it. If you only focus on the stuttering being _there_, you're powerless. But you should focus instead of the things you _do_. You do things _regardless_ of your stutter. That's still agency, and we need to be able to see it as such. A narrow view isn't good for us! It makes the tiny bits into bits that take up all our view. We need to see the other bits too, and for that, we need a wider angle - beyond the stutter. :)
