I believe it's one and the same. Stuttering is the same attempt to get over what you feel in either case. Sometimes when you just breath in and take a moment it's like a reset and you can just continue on back the way you were. Other times you feel like you need to lean into that issue to try to kind of force through it. I don't like falling into that because even if I got through that and the whole sentence I'd be so tired after. I rather got used to taking that moment, trying to control the feeling of wanting to rush through it because I know what that leads to. I think it's great you've found a lot of times just stepping back can do the trick. Just letting go, backtracking, forgetting the intent and priming of doing it the same exact way. It's frustrating how nuanced that is and complicated that feels but it sounds like you began getting the feel of it in some cases.
