I think I have more well-developed hobbies as a result of being excessively shy as a child due to my stuttering. Arguably, it is actually an unintended benefit. I like drawing and painting, I also enjoy cycling, I also like cooking. I used to like playing the piano and various other stringed instruments, though I have lost all passion for music as I have grown older. Likewise, I used to love JRPGs but now I never play any games. My main interest however has always been reading. All of these, aside from reading, are not considered socially acceptable interests for me to have by my family so I keep my hobbies very private and find myself feeling a bit shy. Aside from the above, I also enjoy writing and studying - which is why I love reading. I had, since the age of around 9 years old, kept journals that detailed only whatever I happened to be learning about with commentary for my entire childhood. In my family home, there are over 50 notebooks, spread over almost a decade, concerning this. It’s very fun to look at them occasionally and so I recently picked up this hobby again, though I have filled only one notebook so far. In reference to your comment about boring lives, I think I do tend to lean on the side of being dull and boring but I think this is not really due to stuttering.
