Its a good learning tool honestly, nothing is better than first hand experience. My stutter is weird I choke up on syllables and will make them completely different syllables so "sh" could become "ih" and will repeat them for a minute or so. It sucks in conversations because i get really weird looks. Sometimes certain words I just cant say no matter how many times. So I might not be able to say stuff like the word "no" without stuttering to where it messes up my brain. Its strange and i get constant weird looks.
