Wondering what people do to help not stutter as much.

Wondering what people do to help not stutter as much. Hi, so I started to stutter not to long ago due to my Tourettes. The doctor said that it’s one of my tics. First I was wondering if anyone else besides me experienced something like this cause I feel alone dealing with this and I lost the little confidence and self esteem that I had. And second I was wondering what people did that seemed to help a bit with their stuttering. I am going to go to a speech therapist soon. But was wondering what else I could do or talk to my dr about. Thank you.
