For any sort of relationship (romantic, friend, business, whatever) it's helpful to get into the habit of explaining what it is, and how they should and shouldn't react when you do stutter. For example, my wife knows that when I stutter she should just be quiet and patient, unless I specifically ask her to finish a word for me which is rare. Stuttering too, is rare. It's mostly just attributed to being nervous so people hurry you along or laugh. Once they know it's an impediment and have direction they're generally much more accepting. And if they're not, they can fuck off Mobile, formatting.
