This is cliche obviously, but it's only going to get in the way if you let it. Stutterers in all varying degrees have had success in all careers. I personally know people with prominent stutters as lawyers, upper management etc. Try to be confident in your abilities and you can deal with a stutter that slides into your speech now and then. We all focus on all our perceived flaws more than anyone else.
