Absolutely. I don't believe that I have found a definite cycle to my stutter, but it definitely comes in waves. I do know that the regression comes much swifter than the progression. I first noticed this when I was interviewing for jobs towards the end of my college career. My first 2 or 3 interviews went phenomenally, with little-to-no stuttering. I had several more throughout the next 3 months, and could tell that it was progressively getting worse to the point I began canceling them. I believe this is an internal psychological phenomena where the more progress I make towards my stutter, the less confidence I have that I will be able to live with it normally. Like I am never able to make that last step towards conquering it so I topple back down the hill.
