Feeling self conscious

Feeling self conscious I told my boyfriend I stuttered and it was the first conversation about it. He told me he didn’t notice but he said that I say “like” a lot. I told him it’s a filler word to help with stuttering. But now I feel self conscious about it. About both stuttering and now saying the word “like” too much. So I’m constantly thinking about what I say before I say it. You can tell so much about how somebody speaks, I don’t want to perceived as dumb by stuttering and saying like.
