It’s a negative feedback loop that benzodiazepines break. I currently take 0.5 mg of clonazepam three times a day and it is the only thing that worked for me. I tried the SpeechEasy that was advertised on Oprah 20 something years ago, it didn’t work for me and it cost like $4000 back then. I could see how it works, but not for me. My Doctor is trying to take me off of it, but I would rather die than go to the hell that severe disfluency puts me in. I remember back then when I couldn’t even answer the telephone out of fear.
