This is a tough one. A personal story here...I was married before,ironically to a mild stutterer, so she was understanding of my limitations. But before her and after her have been a bit of a struggle. Mainly after her because my confidence was at a low. Which in turn exacerbated the stuttering. As a man you are perceived as unconfident if you can not speak well. It's not fair but it's true. Owning it helps but you may get passed over for a more charismatic fluent speaker. Women want that energy and entertainment factor right from the start. Even if the guy is a total douchebag if he can bullshit, utilize flirty banter etc. He'll get the girl. The perils of being a stutterer!!!
