I feel like having a career that involved a lot of talking helped me a ton (10 years Air Force Logistics). Instant word substitution on the fly is crazy. I’ve always felt like my mind moves like lightning. I’m always constantly thinking no matter what. Some may say that’s exhausting but I feel like it has helped me tremendously. I’m 31 now. I feel if I stuck to jobs that required minimal talking I would feel like a lot of you. I was born with a stutter. My father and I are the only two in the entire family that has a stutter.
