Has everyone been stuttering since forever? I've been dealing with stuttering since I was 8-9, and I think I developed this problem because of the extremely high level of stress I was experiencing in my family and at school. I have always been pretty shy but I can still remember vividly that there was a time when I used to have no trouble speaking, not at all. During the years I have been trying to "heal" my stuttering by myself, though only very recently I decided to seriously stick to a method I find suitable for me. I am 22 now and I should have started to cure it long ago, but somehow the very fact that I wasn't "born like this" really gives me hope, though I know that a decade-long bad habits may be tough to eradicate. Has anyone on here started to stutter at some point in time and still recall the time when they didn't? I can't wrap my head about the fact that once I could actually speak effortlessly like most people. P.S. of course, even if you were born with stutter, you definitely can get better!! :)
