I'm struggling with your analogy so I'll let that one slide. To me, The Kings Speech was about a guy with a problem who had buried that problem for his whole life. He finally admits he has a problem and reaches out for help, despite that not being the done thing in his circumstances. He goes through a very difficult time addressing his problem, including facing up to very hard truths about his upbringing and such. But he does not quit. He pushes through until he finds a resolution that works for him that he accepts. The movie isn't about stuttering, it's about addressing painful issues. It's a universal story for everyone who is overcoming difficult personal issues. Stuttering was just the vehicle to explain this.
