I feel ya! I was known as the girl who never spoke when I was in high school. I got bullied so much for my stutter that I just stopped talking. However, I am 46 now and things do get better, as everyone else has mentioned. Right now, high school is your entire world. People still make fun of my stutter - which shocks because they are adults and know better - but when they do, I tell them “Yes, I do stutter” and educate them on the history of my stuttering.
