That's a really great point, I didn't even think of that despite having selective mutism myself when I was younger. If he does have it he seems to show it differently than I did, so I guess I'll do some research on it. It'll be nice to learn regardless because I didn't know what it was until well after I got better with speaking. Thank you for your reply!
