well ok, depression meds have never helped my stutter but they have helped my depression. I cant think of any mechanism other than relaxing vocal chords via meds reduces a stutter. Is there a any other plausible mechanism for how ssris would help? I take bupropion. but for me, my stutter is much deeper than vocal chord stress.
